We left Pete”s Fish Farm 11.50am.

Thanks guys for the opportunity to work and learn the Fish Farm.

We left Penola at 13.45 after a nice lunch at the bakery and a look around the town.

We arrived at Werrigar Roadhouse at 1920 and this is where we are staying the night. We had a lovely meal there. Watched x factor and brought a hema truckie road atlas.

TUESDAY 23/10/2012

We left the road house at 8.10am on the road heading north west victoria. We changed to tank 2,  45kms  short of Ouyen. 338kms on tank 1. We arrived in Ouyen at 10.10 and left at 1pm after lunch.

We saw the fruit fly signs and threw out fruit and vegies.

Arrived in redcliffs at 3.45pm and left at 4.50pm.

We got to wentworth drove out and couldn’t find the petrol station after asking someone we had to go back into wentworth go around the block to get into the petrol station made our way in then a car decided to beat us to the pump so our car was on the main road waiting for this other car to finish filling up. when we spoke to him he said he would be only ten minutes. I explained to him that we were towing a car and it was on the main road. He just ignored us and filled his car. we couldn’t do anything but wait and hope for the best that our car didn’t get hit. We saw an emu, 2 snakes,eagles, lambs and wild goats. We got to a rest area at 6pm.

We are now in NSW. We find these roads are better than Victoria. Kiera and I went for a walk and took photos.

WEDNESDAY 23/10/2012

We left the parking bay at 8.10 this morning.Kiera woke up with a blood nose. Greg rang to see where we were. We  used our dukes of hazard horn to scare the wild life away, we are seeing a lot more now, it’s getting too dangerous now even during the day. We pulled over for two massive trucks with police escort

We arrived in Broken Hill at 9.40 and took photo’s and had lunch at Hungry Jacks. Kiera met a new friend called vanessa.

We left Broken Hill at 2.45. We have noticed that the parking Bays are marked on both sides of the road and they all have toilets and play area. We pulled over at 4pm, Dave got tired and decided to have a sleep. We left again at 5.15. We went through Wilcannia an Aboriginal town. We decided to drive straight through and pulled up on the side of the road 15kms past the town.

THURSDAY 24/10/2012

We woke up at 7.10 to Aboriginals on motor bikes going past. We thought we better get moving so we did. We got into White Cliffs at 8.20. We had a rest and waited till the shops opened, then we went for a walk and took photo’s. They have no power from 9-1pm so the generators were going. Kiera didn’t wake up until 10.15. We filled up wiith petrol with the car,jerry cans and some in the bus.

We are now on our last leg to Borrona Downs Station.We rang Greg before we left White Cliffs.
