MONDAY 29/10/2012
Dave took sunrise photos before ha went to work.
Greg got back to the station at 11pm with supplies. Fab and Natalie have been busy rounding up sheep ready to be shawn. Dave had another very hot day welding out in the heat. We had rain in the late afternoon, it made some of the dirt dry ground very soggie.
Random pics Dave took where he is welding at the moment. Very hot working out there with no shade.
The rain is coming
The rain is here and oh boy did it come.
TUESDAY 30/10/2012
The sheep been shawn.
We decided that with working in this heat and been moved away from everyone and no internet that we should move on. We couldn’t understand why Greg moved us so far away from everyone. We had internet when we were near the homestead. Everything seems to be up in the air including on how we get paid, first it was in the bank, then a cheque which we would have to travel 300km round trip to cash it and then time for it to clear. There seems to be a lot of story’s told here.
We have taken some really nice photo’s. We got a hole in one of our water tanks as we were coming in on the station,we were thinking of fixing it before we leave but we have decided to change tanks and do it later.
WEDNESDAY 31/10/2012
Greg’s son Tony came around 9am and they left to go to Dubbo at 11am.
Sunrise at the station.
Full moon
Eugene,Jason and our family will be the only ones on the station until late Sunday. Greg has told Dave that there is no work for the week.
We had a discussion and decided that we can’t sit around for a week waiting for Greg to get back from Dubbo. So we are leaving early in the morning. We went for a drive and Dave showed us what his work was and we saw baby goats and I even caught one. Then we drove around to find our way out of the station in the car.
